Jon joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a systems development consultant. After ten years in IT, change and then HR consulting, John joined Ernst & Young as an HR Director, working firstly in the UK, and then, based in Moscow, covering the former USSR.
 
Jon now consults independently through Strategic Dynamics. In this role, Jon focuses on helping business that already have sound approaches to people management gain further improvements in the capabilities and engagement of their people, and the effectiveness of their organizations. Jon’s most recent consultancy clients include Financial Services: Barclays, Schroders, Aviva, AXA, QBE, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Services: TUI, Technology: BT Global Services, Products: Diageo, Coca Cola HBC and Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia, Chemicals: GSK, Syngenta, Novo Nordisk, Public Sector: Several UK government departments and agencies.
 
Jon has also written a book titled ‘Strategic HCM: Creating Value through People’ that was published by Butterworth Heinemann in 2006. The book features case studies from RBS, BT, Orange, Ernst & Young, BBC, the Cabinet Office and other leading organisations.

He has a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Engineering and an MBA. He is a Certified Management Consultant, a member of the BPS and occupational psychology division, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Fellow of the RSA. Jon has also delivered courses in strategic management, change management and human resources to business school MBA students in the UK, Russia and Croatia.
